Her research interest revolves around upper GI motility disorders including gastroparesis, cyclic vomiting syndrome and therapy through implementation of gastrointestinal neurostimulation. Sarosiek is an expert in Neurogastroenterology and GI Motility with over 20 years of expertise in conducting federal, investigator initiated trials, industry funded multicenter, national and international, randomized clinical trials. Sarosiek has been recognized and has received a number of honors including: American College of Gastroenterology Governor’s Award for Excellence in Clinical Research, ranked as Top Ten Research Faculty at Kansas University Medical Center, Recognition of Outstanding Accomplishments in Management of Gastroparesis at KUMC, Recognition of Excellence with Enterra Therapy- 10 Years’ Experience, PLF SOM Dean’s Excellence in Research Award and Outstanding Research Mentor Award.ĭr. Bush Institute for Women’s Health Scientific Advisory Committee and the Founding Chair of Mentoring Committee of Women in Medicine and Science Organization at TTUHSC, El Paso.ĭr.
